We are just a couple of local braddahs from Molokai chasing our dreams, and helping others along the way to chase theirs. We started this crazy thing called Hawaii’s Finest back in December of 2009, when we decided to print a batch of 144 shirts to make extra money for the holidays. A friend of ours invited us to sell our shirts at his local weekly promotion at The Shack Waikiki; there, he schooled us on promoting and putting together our own concerts.
The rest is history…
We’ve sold shirts out our trunks, turned our living rooms into stores, and popped up at swapmeets, concerts, parks, beaches, etc. You name it, we’ve done it. Things weren’t always pretty, but we did what we needed to stay afloat. We went from throwing small concerts, to selling out at Waikiki Shell; it’s been a rough, but very blessed journey.
We promise to never give up or forget where we are from. We make clothing that we like to wear and throw concerts that we would like to attend. We know that it’s very expensive to live in paradise, and we try to make our products and concerts as affordable as possible. We make what we need to survive and when we are blessed with more than we need, we always give it back to the community.
We want to thank each one of you who has supported us, supports us, and will continue to support us – “We are where we are simply because you’ve been who you’ve been to us.” Be sure to check out our new projects and remember…Malama each other, our land, our culture, and we will all be just fine.
